Crossbow Fear Ends: Man Taken into Arrest Following a Run of London Attacks
UK’s London A man has been detained by Metropolitan Police in connection with a series of crossbow attacks that left two persons injured in central London. Ten days of anxiety and conjecture in the capital come to an end with the arrest.
The first incident happened on Monday, March 4th, when a crossbow bolt struck a 44-year-old lady in the head as she was crossing a road close to Clifton House in east London. Fortunately, her wounds did not pose a threat to her life.
Ten days later, on Thursday, March 14, a similar attack took place a few meters from the initial event site, close to Arnold Circus, targeting a guy in his 20s. The victim was hit in the neck by the bolt this time.
Police came to the conclusion that the attacks were related because of their close proximity and the peculiar weapon. Following the start of a manhunt, the latest arrest was made.
Authorities don’t reveal any information about the suspect or his motivation as the inquiry goes on. Yet, Londoners, who were naturally on edge in the wake of the assaults, can now breathe a sense of relief after the arrest.
